Dear Phil,

You bring a lot to the party. Distance, rhythm, touch, poise and confidence.

I particularly admire the way you hit a long wedge shot. Your left shoulder flows directly down the line under your chin.

Your putting, however, can be even better. Use a more upright putter and stand closer. This will improve your alignment, particularly on those 5-8 footers you frequently hit off line.

Also, I would like to see you stand a little closer to the ball with your driver. This will help tighten your flight pattern.

In other words, the set-up you use for the full wedge should be adopted for your putting and driving with respect to distance of your hands from your body at set-up.
