Bob Writes To: Davis Love III
Dear Davis,
As goes your follow-through, so goes your
game.
When you first came out on tour your follow through
was so low and to the left that I was concerned that you might break
your left knee with the clubhead. A few years ago you started standing
closer to the ball and improved the path of your swing. At that time,
you often hit shots that ended with a classic high finish. Two or
three years ago you seemed to digress. Not as bad as when you first
came out but not as good as you had been at your best.
Pose in a high finish position. Get the feeling of
finishing in that position. Also observe the appearance of the high
finish. Practice swinging to that high finish every time. This will
be facilitated by standing closer to the ball and having a mental
image of the proper, down the line swing path.
Golfingly Yours,
Bob Mann
