Question from Steve: New Drivers

I went from a 17 to a 9 this past year. It was a delightful summer. I am now trying to go lower. I feel I need to be more consistent off the tee. Are the new drivers ('bubble' and offset head - closed-face) really that big a deal to us 'left to righters'? If so, how do I go about checking them out with various shaft combinations?

I have a couple of your tapes and have enjoyed them. As I get better, they become even more effective. Keep up the good work.
