Question from Trevor: Right Heel

Dear Bob:

Should the right heel be flat on the ground at impact? If I drive hard with the right leg, I get past the ball with my left hip and roll over on my left foot.

Dear Trevor:

The right heel should definitely not be flat on the ground at impact. You do want your left hip to get past the ball, and it is ideal to roll over onto the outside of your left foot through impact and at completion of the swing. So what's your complaint?

Golfingly Yours,
Bob Mann
