Question from Martin: Putting

Dear Martin:

No, for a reason that gets into the basic core issue of good putting.

Good putters roll the ball softly. The possible exception is a putt under 2 feet.

When the ball is rolled properly the ball will hunt the hole. When it is banged, it will frequently lip out or go so far by as to make the next putt a Knee-Knocker.

Golfingly Yours,
Bob Mann
