Question from Herb: Swing Path
Dear Herb:
This
is not a good question. This is a great question. The answer is so
important that I am producing my
next video entirely devoted to the subject. The video will be entitled
AUTOMATIC GOLF "The Secret Stuff." This is the issue that
I work on with my touring pro clients.
Aside from standing closer to the ball
you can do the following drill to improve the path of the club head
along the intended line of flight.
Lay two clubs on the ground about six inches
apart. Make sure that the heads of the clubs are turned outward so
as not to impinge upon the six inch slot.
Practice hitting balls positioned midway
between the clubs and about half way between the clubheads and the
butts of the grips. Concentrate on moving the club head away from
the ball down the center of the path on the back swing and on the
follow through.
Golfingly Yours,
Bob Mann
