Dear Glenn:

Point your chin a couple of inches to the right of the ball and keep it there until after impact. This will prevent you from swaying and will eliminate the blocked shot.

 You've heard the song... the hip bone is connected to the thigh bone, etc. When you point your chin to the right and hold it there until after impact, you will prevent swaying because the body is connected. A Negative swing occurs when the upper body moves from side to side, instead of rotating around the spine. As noted above, this is prevented by the pointing of the chin.
