Question from Robert: Learning Golf
Dear Robert:
I note with interest that you have been golfing zero years
and have a handicap of 100. With patience we will hope to reverse those
statistics.
If you are completely
new to the game and have been physically inactive in recent years,
I suggest that you proceed in the following
manner.
- Join a gym
and under supervision work on increasing your strength and flexibility.
- Buy
a set of my videos.
Come to think of it, the material in my videos is so heavy
that you can leave out step 1 as you'll get strong as a bull just by
lifting my videos.
If you are an el cheapo and want to avoid all expanse,
I suggest you get started by driving up the hill from your home to
Pasatiempo Golf Course and by stealing a club out of the bag of one
of the rich old buzzards that play up there and then use it to practice
the Motor Move as suggested in my letter entitled chunking.
Golfingly Yours,
Bob Mann
